The Fender JB62 WAL 62 Jazz Bass (Walnut) isn't just any Fender. This electric bass guitar was made completely in Japan. The most remarkable thing about that (apart from great quality, that is) is that it is available here, in Europe, as Japanese Fenders rarely leave the land of the rising sun. This is a Jazz Bass like it looked and sounded in 1962. It is a special version that ensures great, professional build quality as well as original vintage features.

JB62-WAL: tone and colour

Naturally, this gorgeously finished instrument has the unmistakable J-Bass shape. One of the more striking features of the JB62 WAL is the dark-brown Walnut finish on the ash body. This finish makes for a beautiful combination with the rosewood fretboard and the black pickguard, knobs and hardware. The JB pickups, with exactly the correct 62 voicing, produce the rich-in-midtones Jazz Bass sound.
