General
Never before seen in Europe and now available as a limited edition, it's the Fender Japan AJB VWH. This Aerodyne Jazz Bass stands out because of its curved top, which gives it a comfortable feel and eliminates the need for an arm contour so that the whole guitar looks sleeker and more streamlined. This body was made of basswood because of this wood's comfortable light weight and excellent tonal properties. This is the Vintage White version with matched headstock and black bindings.
Fender Japan AJB VWH: highly versatile
Thanks to the combination of a Jazz Bass single-coil and a Precision Bass split single-coil, the Fender Japan Aerodyne Jazz Bass can be used in a broad range of music and playing styles. The bridge pickup produces a tasty J-Bass grunt, while the middle pickup is perfect for creating punchy P-Bass sounds. The AJB VWH has a maple neck and a 20-fret rosewood fretboard with a 7.25-inch vintage radius. Hardware-wise, Fender opted for a set of high-quality Gotoh GB1 machine heads and beautiful chromed knobs.
