Not just guitars are treated to an overhaul by Fender's FSR team, they also get their magic hands on amplifiers every now and again. The black cover of this Factory Special Run version of the popular Blues Junior III tube guitar amplifier has made room for a stunning Candy Apple Red lacquer. If you own a sparkling CAR Fender guitar, then this is its ideal mate. In addition to a new guise, the Fender FSR Blues Junior III Candy Apple Red also begot a beige grille cloth and - of course - a Limited Edition FSR badge.

Features of the Fender FSR Blues Junior III CAR

The Blues Junior has been a long-time favourite among guitarists for many years now. Thanks to its three 12AX7 preamp tubes and two EL84 power amp tubes, this small power house pushes 15 watts of pure-tube pleasure through its 12-inch Eminence speaker. With only a single volume knob, a 3-band EQ, a master volume and a reverb it is remarkably user-friendly. Turn down the preamp volume and open up the master and you'll obtain the legendary full, clear Fender cleans. Turn up the preamp volume and turn the master down and you'll gain a creamy, dynamic overdrive. What's more, this amp is the perfect base for stomp-box effects.

Third generation tube combo

This is the third generation of Blues Junior amps and it is yet again better than its predecessors. For one, the chrome control panel has been replaced by a more legible black version with durable chicken-head knobs. The most important feature, however, is the specially designed Eminence 'Lightning Bolt' speaker that produces a rich, complex harmonic tone with an excellent balance across the entire frequency range. Thanks to the Sparkle circuit modification, the crystal-clear Fender sound is even more present. Lastly, a noise-free mounting provides a better shock absorption for the tubes.
