Both advanced and professional bass players can depend on this Fender (Olympic White) American Vintage '63 Precision Bass' pleasant sound, looks and feel. Those who know about guitars will have noticed that Fender have accurately copied every aspect of the 1963 Precision Bass. This white bass guitar features an alder body, mint-green pickguard, thick C-profile neck and a rosewood fretboard with clay-coloured position markers.

A new direction with the American Vintage '63 Precision Bass

Back in 1963, Fender took their Precision Bass down a completely new road and equipped it, for the first time, with a round-laminated rosewood fretboard. This fretboard can be recognised by its slender, curved looks and sits on the neck as if it were a thin layer. Additionally, the Fender American Vintage '63 Precision Bass is equipped with beautiful chrome covers for the bridge and the Vintage split single-coil pickup.

Guitars and bass guitars from the American Vintage series

The American Vintage models are highly accurate reproductions of Fender guitars and bass guitars from the fifties, sixties and seventies. The original guitars were carefully analysed, after which Fender crafted the new editions using genuine '50s tools. Additionally, every type was fitted with unique pickups and virtually all American Vintage instruments were finished with a very thin, vintage-looking coat for optimal body resonance.

Escribió lo siguiente sobre Fender American Vintage 63 Precision Bass

Speel al jaren op een Musicman Singray(actief) en heb, deze vintage P63 in de handen gehad tijdens de 10 jarige verjaardagen van Bax en onmiddellijk meegenomen.
Dit ding speelt bijzonder vlot en is veel lichter om de hals ,belangrijk is als je als coverband meer dan 2 u op een podium staat. Compleet retro met koffer enz. zoals het moet. De klank is diep en vol voor een passieve bas, ik houw liefst de tone-knop net niet dicht voor een pompende plectumbas.
De asbakjes zijn verwijderd, die zitten me in de weg.
