General
Even though the Fender Stratocaster has remained virtually unaltered since its introduction in 1954, Fender has remained up-to-date and developed the American Deluxe Stratocaster. Concerning sound, innovation and tradition, this guitar has everything the contemporary guitarist needs. The American Deluxe Stratocaster Ash looks like a classic Fender but is equipped with several modern features. What's more, it is 100% American. This American Deluxe Strat features a rosewood fretboard and a White Blonde finish. Its body is made of ash, which is a wood type that isn't just pretty to look at but also has some particularly nice tonal characteristics. Ash provides slightly less mids but more than makes up for this with its clear basses and trebles. The guitar comes with an accessory SKB case with Schaller Security Locks, a guitar cable, and a guitar strap.
American Deluxe Stratocaster Ash White Blonde: modern technology
The neck of this American Deluxe Stratocaster Ash has 22 medium jumbo frets and a 9.5 to 14-inch compound radius. As a result, it is more comfortable to play barre chords at lower positions and easier to make bends at higher positions. All without buzzing noises! For added comfort during high notes, the neck heel is bevelled. The high-quality locking machine heads in combination with the renewed 2-point tremolo bridge provide faster string changes and a more stable tuning. The tremolo arm has a threadless design and adjustable tension so that there's no slack.
Renewed S-1 configuration: 10 different sounds!
The American Deluxe Stratocaster is fitted with Fender's new N3 Noiseless pickups. These three single-coils produce that legendary Strat sparkle, without the typical 50Hz hum or static. The top of the volume knob is a special pressure switch, the S-1 switch. By pressing the S-1 you'll activate a different circuit that allows you to create five completely different sounds in addition to the five original Strat ones. These sounds range from a single out-phased pickup to all three pickups combined. How's that for versatility?
