Clavia Nord Electro 4 HP

General

Since the introduction of the first Nord Electro, Clavia has made quite a name for itself with their red instruments, and a broad spectrum of keyboardists have come to put their trust in the versatile Electro series. The Nord Electro 4 HP is the successor of the 3HP and offers a keyboard with 73 keys and hammer action - and it only weighs 11 kg!

Wave ROM

The realistic sound of a stage piano depends on the size of the sample memory (wave ROM) from which the sound is built. The Electro 4HP, for instance, has double the wave ROM for its Piano Library, compared to the 3HP. Such an improvement is quite advantageous when it comes to providing realistic sound; not to mention that string resonance and release samples have been carefully integrated in the presets. As for the piano portion of the instrument, you can choose from a grand, an upright piano, a Rhodes, a Wurlitzer and a harpsichord.

B3 simulation from C2D

The organ section has also received major improvements, and features the newest tone wheel simulation, which you'll also find in the Nord C2D organ. Thanks to the LED drawbars, the Hammond simulation can go from screaming to warm and supple in the blink of an eye. Along with the Hammond B3, the lively Farfisa Compact Delux and Vox Continental models are also available. Together with the renovated effect section with amp simulation, distortion, and EQ, your organ solos are bound to stand out. Finally, the electro 4HP is fully customisable, as you can switch out any of the samples via the Nord Sound Manager.
