Charvel designed this green guitar specifically for guitarists who are into the heavier types of music, such as rock and metal for instance. This instrument is perfect for proper, rhythmic chord playing or a screaming solo. Its remarkable Slime Green colour will definitely make you stand out on stage! Thanks to it's humbuckers it produces the distinctively rugged sound we know and love from Charvel's guitars.
Charvel PM SC1 HH FR Slime Green
The sound of this guitar is as fierce as its colour and comes from two proper Seymour Duncan humbuckers, pickups that were specially designed for distorted tones with a minimum of noise and hum. The body is made of alder, providing a semi-long sustain and excellent tonal properties. For the neck and fretboard, maple was used. The result is a smooth-playing guitar along the entire length of the neck!
Electronics and hardware
For contrast, the hardware of this guitar is all black. The pale neck and black tuners look remarkably stunning. Electronic-wise, this guitar features as little as possible for minimal static. You can select the pickups via a 3-way switch. Both pickups are active in the middle position. Additionally, a volume knob allows for subtle tonal variations and of course volume control. A marvellous guitar at a great price!
