To emphasise the rugged nature of this guitar, Charvel fitted it with a body of alder, a wood type that ensures a perfectly balanced tone with excellent sustain. Add to this the two Seymour Duncan pickups and the result is a truly spectacular sound. The Seymour Duncan humbuckers were specially designed to produce a high output to give the sound from your amplifier a deliciously distorted edge. Thanks to the high output, your amp is bound to start screaming rather quickly. What's more, Charvel also devoted a lot of attention to the guitar's playing comfort and fitted the guitar with a maple neck, allowing for great playability along its entire length!
Electronics and hardware
For contrast, the hardware of this guitar is all black. The pale neck and black tuners look remarkably stunning. Electronics-wise, this guitar features as little as possible for minimal static. You can select the pickups via a 3-way switch. Both pickups are active in the middle position. Additionally, a volume knob allows for subtle tonal variations and of course volume control. A marvellous guitar at a great price!
