The ATH- M50S are studio headphones specifically designed for professional mixing and listening. This model is very popular due to the combination of wearing and listening comfort and its solid construction. In contrast to the 'regular' ATH-M50, this ATH-M50S is equipped with an right angle 3.5 metres cable that provides you with enough movement space in the average studio.

The basis of good-sounding headphones lies in their drivers. The ATH-M50S has extra large ones with a diameter of 45 mm. The magnets are made of lightweight neodymium and produce a crystal clear and balanced response. During mixing sessions you wouldn't want a hyped bass or trebles. This Audio Technica does its job and evenly exposes a full frequency range.

Construction
The ATH-M50S can handle a fair amount of input power (up to 1,600 mW) and its professional cable and connector guarantee a good signal transfer. An adapter cable with a 6.3 mm connector is included, of course. This screw-type cable is gold-plated and provides an optimal connection. You can fold the headphones into a compact size which makes them suited for transport. So, travelling DJs, producers and anyone who always wants to mix with their favourite headphones at any place, can rely on these ATH-M50S.
