During Apple's yearly keynote speech they introduced this new model, the iPad mini 4 64 GB Wi-fi Gold. It's difficult to tell just by looking but this new version is lighter at just 300 grams, thinner at just 6.1 mm, and has a sharper ISP LCD Retina screen. Front-facing and rear-facing cameras can be found, of course, at 1.2 megapixels and 8 megapixels respectively.

The biggest changes are internal. The iPad mini 4 is equipped with two processors that together offer performance that is thirty percent faster than its predecessor. A co-processor, the M8, is tasked with processes such as your location and speed, as well as the weather. This leaves the main A8 processor free to focus on whatever you might be doing, whether that's watching a film, playing a game or taking photos, for instance. Battery life is also improved with up to ten hours between charges.
High performance thanks to iOS 9
Apple's iOS 9 operating system is standard on the iPad and, together with the A8 processor, ensures great performance. Photos are so vivid, even pictures you take yourself look like they'll jump right off the 7.9" IPS LCD Retina screen. This tablet is also able to pick up Wi-Fi signals as soon as they're available, while cellular models can also function as a hotspot for other devices. Thanks to the high-tech fingerprint lock technology, you can protect any personal information on this device via Touch ID.
