The American DJ InnoScan is a scanner with an extremely high light output. It is equipped with a powerful 50W(!) LED ensuring proper illumination. The scanner features a mirror that is driven by a stepper motor, so it moves the massive smoothly.
InnoScan LED: three operational modes
The American DJ InnoScan LED scanner has three different operational modes. First up, there's the Sound Active mode, in which the scanner will respond to the music via its built-in programs. Chain several InnoScans and they'll follow the same movements in the master/slave mode. Whenever you want to take full control, use the DMX mode to control all of its functions via eight or twelve DMX channels.
Scanner with a separate gobo and colour wheel
American DJ didn't exactly rest on their laurels after fitting this LED scanner with an immense light source, and equipped the Innoscan with a separate gobo and colour wheel, allowing a combination between all colours (eight of them, plus open) and gobos (six). This is a great effect, for numerous situations!
