This is the second model in a series of trusted amplifiers. With the XLT series, American Audio presents a collection of attractive amplifiers with equally attractive price tags. The amps are equipped with the most modern technology, making them lighter and much more efficient than traditional amplifiers. The XLT1200 is a sizeable amplifier that can produce up to 1,200 watts RMS at 4 ohms in bridge model, making it perfectly suited for large full-range speakers or heavy 18-inch subwoofers. It's also a great choice for driving a set of full-range speakers in stereo mode, making it a most versatile option.

Extras and options of the XLT1200

The first thing many people notice about the XLT1200 is the low-pass filter option. This ensures that all of the high tones are kept out of the signal, making the XLT1200 a great subwoofer amp. Along with that, you can choose how you want to connect it, as it offers TRS jack, XLR and RCA connectors. Outputs are equipped with locking connectors and wire clips. This is an excellent option for both fixed and mobile applications!

Escribió lo siguiente sobre American Audio XLT1200

Afgelopen week heb ik deze versterker binnen gekregen. Het vermogen in combinatie met het gewicht trok me enorm aan. En ik mag zeggen dat het echt een beest is. Ik heb nog een American Audio ( VX-1000 ) staan, maar deze nieuwe perst er gewoon veel meer geluid uit zonder over z'n nek te gaan.
De versteker is echt ideaal voor de mobiele DJ omdat hij maar 7 kilo weegt in plaats van 15 KG. ( Dus zeker handig als je er 2 neemt "top en sub")

De Low Pass optie kan ik nog niet gebruiken omdat ik nog geen subwoofers heb. Ben benieuwd of ik op deze manier geen crossover nodig heb :)

Wel even wat minpuntjes :
* Zoals je misschien op de foto ziet, zitten de oren te dicht op de gaten waarmee je hem vastzet in de flightcase. Met normale flightcase schroeven krijg je hem heel slecht vast.
* De XLR ingangen hebben niet zo'n klik systeem waardoor je echt twijfelt of ze goed vast zitten.
