This compact active instrument amp is equipped with a 12-inch woofer and a 1-inch tweeter, which enable it to produce a full-fledged, impressive sound. The Kick 12 is particularly suited for instruments, but also features a built-in mixer and even a built-in Alesis effect unit, which make it a great asset for one-man bands as well.

Components of the Kick 12

It may not appear so at first glance, but the Alto Pro Kick 12 is quite an elaborate piece of equipment. The instrument amp is equipped with a built-in amplifier module with a peak power of 250 watts, which drives the 12-inch woofer and the 1-inch tweeter, enabling them to produce an impressive sound. The Kick 12 also features a built-in four-channel mixer, linked to an Alesis effect module - simply select an effect and apply it to one or more channels - as well as a headphone output, a main mix volume knob and a two-band EQ for each channel.

Construction of the instrument amplifier

Alto Pro has equipped the Kick 12 with a rugged wooden housing with metal corners and with damping felt that protects and dampens the speaker cabinet, making it suitable for even the most demanding applications. A solid metal grill protects the internal components and a handle on top allows for easy transport.
