The DM Dock is not only compatible with most dual-zone drum and cymbal pads and triple-zone ride cymbals, but can also be used with continuous-control hi-hats, multi-choke cymbals and acoustic drum triggers. Thanks to the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay and 3G functionality of your iPad you cannot only use the sounds and options or the module itself, but have the entire Internet at your disposal. Are you not entirely happy with your current sound? Simply download a complete new drum kit or a better snare, tom or cymbal. Are you getting ready to hit the stage? Quickly download a reverb effect that perfectly matches the acoustics of the venue. The DM Dock is compatible with nearly any MIDI-controllable music app for iPad, including Garageband.
A complete drum module for any occasion
The DM Dock is equipped with a hinged door that encloses (and protects) your entire iPad, but leaves the touch-sensitive screen accessible. Equipped with both 30-pin and Lightning connectors, the drum module can be connected to any generation iPad. It also features thirteen 1/4-inch TRS inputs for your triggers and two balanced 1/4-inch outputs for connection to an amplifier or PA installation. A 1/8-inch aux input for external audio sources and a 1/4-inch stereo headphone output are also at your disposal. The included power adapter keeps your iPad charged at all times for hours of fun, and the DM Dock can easily be mounted on any stand or rack by means of an optional Alesis Module Mount.
