The SPL Director combines a high-end stereo preamplifier and a DA converter that features the Pro-Fi Voltair DAC technology, and functions as the heart of a high fidelity stereo system. Apart from active monitors and power amps, you can also connect headphone preamps, phono preamps, and various other sources to the Director. Furthermore, this preamp and DA converter features Voltair DAC technology, which means that it has much more headroom in comparison with similar preamplifiers.
Director: functionalities and formats
With the Director by SPL you get a complete and high-end stereo preamplifier and DA converter all-in-one! Use the source button to switch between sources, but you can also use any IR remote to control this setting, as well as the volume. This SPL audio converter and preamp also features four digital inputs, pulse-code modulation, and Direct Stream Digital as digital formats.
