The ADI-2 Pro is the next generation of AD/DA converters in the RME range. It can also be used as USB 2 DAC, USB 2 interface, or simply as a high-end headphone amplifier for redefined crystal-clear audio. Whether you want to use the ADI-2 Pro in the mastering process, or whether you're an audiophile who just wants to enjoy its top-notch sound quality, prepare yourself for something spectacular. The RME ADI-2 Pro interface can automatically detect the type of connection and which mode is appropriate, based on that connection. This function can also be de-activated, if preferred.

And finally, it features two separate balanced and unbalanced outputs via XLR and TRS, and two stereo high-impedance headphone outputs, making it a high-quality headphone amplifier as well.

Its integrated sample rate converter solves any clocking issues between S/PDIF and AES before they even start thanks to its SteadyClock III technology. With a maximum sample rate of a whopping 768 kHz, we're talking about the cream of the crop of AD/DA conversion! A unique feature of this device is the possibility of using a 5-band parametric equalizer and to adjust low and high frequencies wherever you deem necessary. You can even activate a binaural crossfeed function and there's an adjustable loudness filter, selectable AD/DA filters, and four analogue reference levels too. All of this information is shown on a high-res display for your optimal convenience.
