General
The Focusrite RedNet 6 is an ultra-reliable device that functions as a bridge between MADI/AES10 products and the RedNet network by Focusrite. With this device you can use RedNet interface products with your MADI system, or use MADI components with your RedNet configuration. Connect RedNet with digital mixers and interfaces with MADI connectivity, for instance. The RedNet 6 is equipped with a full 64 channels and can work with both optical and coaxial connectors, along with Wordclock in/out.
The Audio Quality of the RedNet 6
With this compact red 1U-high Focusrite RedNet6, you can count on an impressively low latency of 3 ms, an audio conversion at a maximum quality of 24 bits/ 192 kHz, and a dynamic range of 120 dB. Thanks to the ASRC (asynchronous sample rate converter), with which every input and output is equipped, you can connect systems with unequal sample rates directly to one another.
Ethernet Connection
RedNet is a super-reliable series of studio interfaces that works via an Ethernet network based on the trusted Dante audio network system. Focusrite was actually the first company to offer IP network audio interfaces for the studio and other versatile environments! You can connect to your computer via a low-latency PCIe card, a virtual sound card, or to a Pro Tools HD/HDX/HD Native via the RedNet HD bridge.
