If you're new to the wondrous world of DMX, American DJ's WiFly NE1 Battery is the perfect entry-level wireless DMX controller. It allows for intuitive control and is easy to set up thanks to its wireless WiFly system. Additionally, it has a 3-pin DMX output, which makes operating modern fixtures a piece of cake. The WiFly NE1 features a lot of the same functions a larger controller would offer, but does away with complicated sub menus.

Operating the WiFly NE1 Battery

Operating your lights with the ADJ WiFly NE1 Battery is a breeze. The controller has twelve function buttons that can easily be assigned to individual fixtures or groups, as well as a number of Mode buttons for colour, gobo, effect, show and pause, so adjusting a single light is simple. The NE1's knobs allow you to adjust parameters like pan and tilt, while independent faders and buttons put you in control of a strobe effect and a master dimmer. Finally, two banks of six memory buttons allow you to program up to twelve different shows.

Settings

It won't take you long to set up the NE1. A blue backlit LED display allows you to select a fixture type from the library, but it's also possible to create your own profiles using the NE1 Profile Creator program. New profiles can easily be imported by means of a USB stick.
