El Traktor Kontrol S3 de Native Instruments es un controlador de DJ que, con el software incluido, abre cuatro platos. Haz mezclas por capas, añade acapellas, dispara samples y pon esa pista que hace temblar la sala en el deck C, lista para ser desplegada en el momento justo. Viene con una tarjeta de sonido integrada de alta calidad y todo lo necesario para preparar tu set para el escenario.
Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S3: La libertad de cuatro cubiertas
El Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S3 es un controlador de DJ que se puede combinar con el software Traktor Pro 4 incluido para ofrecerte la libertad de cuatro platos. La nueva cara de este Traktor Kontrol cuenta con un mezclador de cuatro canales completo con EQ, cueing y Mixer FX Control para cada deck. A ambos lados de la sección del mezclador, se ha instalado una refinada jog-wheel que, con sólo pulsar un botón, se puede asignar a uno de los cuatro decks. Llena los ocho pads RGB de fácil acceso con samples y cues y aprovecha cada centímetro de espacio que el Traktor Kontrol S3 abre para ti.
Una caja de flexibilidad y conectividad directa
El S3 tiene entradas Aux y de micrófono y es capaz de hacer beat-grids automáticos, beat-matching, hacer loops y luego vestirlos de efectos, lo que significa que esta máquina dinámica y de diseño intuitivo no hará más que elevar tus sets de DJ.
La aplicación Traktor para iPad o portátil
El Traktor Kontrol S3 es totalmente compatible con la aplicación Traktor DJ para iPhone y iPad. Esto significa que puedes preparar tus sets con antelación configurando cosas como listas de reproducción, puntos cue e incluso loops. Si eres un DJ que viaja mucho, puede ser muy útil poder preparar algunas cosas de camino al local, especialmente si llegas tarde. La aplicación también puede utilizarse para añadir efectos en tiempo real a tu actuación.

As a beginner DJ, I wanted to make sure I invested in a controller that would not only help me learn the basics but also give me room to grow as I develop my skills. After a lot of research, I decided to go for the Traktor S3, and I have to say, I’m really happy with my choice.
One of the main reasons I chose the 4-channel setup is because I wanted more flexibility as I progress. I know that a 2-channel controller might be sufficient to start with, but I felt that having 4 channels would give me the opportunity to experiment with more complex mixes, transitions, and layering. I wanted to future-proof my investment, so when I’m ready to dive into more advanced techniques, the controller is already equipped to handle it.
The S3 fits perfectly within its price range. You get a professional-grade controller without breaking the bank. The jog wheels feel really smooth and responsive, which has been great for learning how to beatmatch (even though I’m still working on that!). The layout is well thought out, and everything feels intuitive, which is important when you're still getting the hang of things. I was initially worried that having so many features might overwhelm me, but the user interface in Traktor is really beginner-friendly.
What I appreciate most is that I feel like I’m not limited to my current skill level. I can see myself using this controller for years to come as I keep improving. Whether I’m practicing at home the S3 gives me the tools I need to keep growing as a DJ.

Na lang wikken en wegen ben ik toch voor de S3 gegaan. Ook al zijn de controllers van Native Instruments al een tijd uit, toch leek me deze versie precies bieden wat ik wel en vooral niet nodig had.
Ik draaide vroeger op vinyl, en het werd tijd m'n oude hobby weer nieuw leven in te blazen. Deze controller voldoet hiervoor uitstekend:
Pluspunten:
- De controller heeft wat je nodig hebt en biedt net wat meer dan de instappers, waaronder 4 kanalen
- Ieder kanaal heeft z'n eigen volume-meter (leds) waardoor je het volume heel nauwkeurig op het andere kanaal kunt afstellen, een must wat mij betreft!
- XLR output (master)
- Booth ouput
- Line in (1x)
- Degelijk gebouwd
- Goede jogwheels
- Gratis Traktor 4
- De prijs (!)
Minpunten
- Soms mis ik wat precisie bij tempo-range afstelling (maar geen probleem)
- Geen phono-in (maar wel 1x line-in)
Ik heb ook gekeken naar de S4, en twijfelde lang, maar uiteindelijk voldoet deze prima, voor bijna de helft van de aankoopprijs. De S4 heeft iets meer features, maar het is twijfelachtig of ik die ook echt zou gaan gebruiken. Het geld dat ik uitspaar kan ik mooi een set monitor speakers stoppen.
Mocht je twijfelen, ik vond de S3 mede vanwege de aansluitingen een mooie step-up in vergelijking met de S2 en bijna net zoveel bieden als de S4, voor een heel goede prijs. Aanrader dus.
P.S. Ik heb een b-stock besteld, scheelde weer wat euro's. De S3 kwam als nieuw binnen.

De Traktor Kontrol S3 is een uitstekende DJ-controller voor zowel beginners als ervaren DJ’s. Met zijn vier kanalen, strakke integratie met Traktor Pro 3 en solide bouwkwaliteit biedt hij veel waarde voor zijn prijs. De hoge-resolutie jogwheels voelen responsief aan, en de RGB-performance pads geven extra creatieve mogelijkheden. Hoewel hij geen standalone-mogelijkheden heeft, is de S3 een betrouwbare keuze voor wie een krachtige en gebruiksvriendelijke controller zoekt.

Even een update en correctie op het vorige bericht. Er was geen bug. Via Native Instruments helpdesk kreeg ik snel respons, het was een instellingsitem. Opgelost en het leven kan verder. Te bekijken misschien: Makkelijk zou zijn dat jullie een 1e lijn-lijst van vragen / Q-A inventariseren van wat jullie verkopen en zo mogelijk al direct kunnen oplossen wanneer we contacteren. Ben geen IT-er - dat is nu helemaal wel duidelijk - maar zo'n software bij je helpdesk zou een win-win kunnen zijn.

Blijkbaar software-bug of whatever. Upload geeft geen overzicht nummers in linkervenster. In het begin was dit ok, bij een live-gig net voor de show error maar gelukkig een ITer opgebeld die het via heel wat pogingen in orde bracht. Nadien nog een paar keer in orde en nu elke opstart idem = je kan het niet gebruiken.
Ben zelf geen ITer, moet niet eens de bedoeling zijn. Dochter kan haar sets nu niet indraaien.
Blijkbaar moet ik het zelf maar uitzoeken met Native Instruments. Nou, dure grap en absoluut niet de bedoeling toch?

Je passe du contrôleur Traktor S2 au S3. Tout est beaucoup mieux! En effet c'est plus intuitif, plus préçis, plus puissant.
