Additional features
Because it's USB-powered, you don't need any other power adapters with the CMD Studio 2A - just connect it to your laptop and you’re good to go. In order to get you started right away, it also comes with a version of Deckadance 2 LE, which you can use for controlling the CMD Studio 2A. Finally, the mixer itself features jog wheels, faders and buttons that will give you perfect control over the DJ software.

Ok controller en built-in geluidskaart; maar er zit lag op de controls (niet handig) en het is niet meer mogelijk om de mee geleverde software te activeren sinds de overname van Cakewalk door Bandlab.

"Het bloed kruipt waar het niet gaan kan"
Onlangs mijn kinderen maar weer eens laten zien, dat de gemiddelde DJ van tegenwoordig weinig spectaculairs hoeft te kunnen... ;-)
Aangezien ik ze niet onbeheerd in de buurt van m'n Dateq, SL's, RME Fireface en Traktor D2's wil zien, heb ik besloten om deze Behringer CMD Studio 2A controller aan te schaffen.
Prijs/kwaliteit is best goed. Drukknoppen en jog-wheels voelen stevig aan. De faders en pot-meters zijn uiteraard van mindere klasse, maar dat is te overzien.
Ik heb voor mijn kinderen deze controller gekoppeld aan hun eigen pc, voorzien van Virtual DJ software, pc-speakertjes, een koptelefoon en dat werkt gewoon prima. Standaard wordt er overigens Deckadance LE software meegeleverd, wat ook best zal werken.
Kanttekening: Traktor 2.10 functioneert overigens niet. Op diverse fora meldt men dat versie 2.6 de laatste is, welke nog wel werkt met deze controller, maar dat heb ik nog niet getest.
Kortom:
Echt een leuk apparaat voor een nette prijs om ze zelf te laten rommelen met "plaatjes draaien"!
