General
Most drop-clutches either slam your hi-hat cymbals shut or leave too big a gap. The Tama Sizzle Touch Drop Clutch takes care of that problem once and for all, since it allows you to accurately narrow or widen the gap between your hi-hat cymbals via an intuitive knob. This is great if you're playing with a double kick pedal, plus the clutch is super-easy to set up thanks to a quick-set mechanism. Instead of dealing with screws, it's just a matter of pressing the red button, removing the felt, and sticking a cymbal in between before you put the felt back in place. Nifty, huh?

I bought this Tama product, to replace a similar Pearl drop clutch, which I have used for years. However, this Tama clutch gives me micro adjustments, so I can have the hi hat completely closed, slightly open or anything in between. Marvellous piece of kit. Well done Tama.
