Backed up by 300 Watts of power, this combo bass amp definitely packs enough punch for rehearsals and gigs in small venues, and getting it there should never be a problem thanks to its humble dimensions.

The Ashdown Studio 15: Hands-On Control

The various physical controls of the Studio 15 Tweed put you in charge of the sound of this little combo. First off, there's a 5-band EQ for adjusting the bass, mid frequencies, trebles and everything in between, but you're also set up with shape, drive and pre-gain controls so you can dial in a clean sound or ramp up the distortion as needed. Also, your lows will be naturally deeper since the amp is rear-ported, while the fitted active/passive toggle control can be set to match the pickups of your bass guitar. It's this high level of flexibility that makes the Ashdown Studio 15 cut out for a wide range of styles.
