The VOX MINI5 is equipped with 5 watts of power to provide plenty of volume with its 6.5-inch speaker, and it's possible to turn the power down to 1.5 or 0.1 watts. That might not sound like much, but such a feature allows you to use the drive and air characteristics of a guitar amp without disturbing your ear drums or your neighbours. One thing's for sure, and that's that this VOX amp is the ideal practice partner. Thanks to the 99 built-in rhythms you can play along with a groove from the music genre of your choice. The VOX Bassilator sound circuit provides a surprisingly solid bass sound.

Modelling options

Just like the other amplifiers in the VOX MINI5 line, the MINI5 DI features plenty of impressive modelling technology. This little wonder is home to no fewer than eleven different amp models, giving you the ability to vary your sound from the sparkle of a VOX AC-15 to modern ultra high-gain metal sounds. Along with the eleven amp models you can also make use of eight built-in effects: Compressor, Chorus, Flanger, Tremolo, Delay, Tape Echo, Spring and Room reverb. And of course it all comes in a stylish package.
