The VOX AC30VR is the big brother of the AC15VR Valve Reactor guitar combo. With 30 watts of power and two 12-inch Celestion speakers, this two-channel combo delivers the biggest VOX performance. The AC30VR inherited its tube-driven transistor power amp circuit from the popular Valvetronix series, which offers a warm, dynamic, crystal-clear VOX tube sound with the advantage of transistors.

Expansive options for adjusting your sound

The AC30VR offers two switchable channels: Normal and Overdrive. Both channels feature bass, treble and volume controls. The Overdrive channel has additional gain and mid controls for even more sound variation, and it's easy to switch over to OD2 for a mountain of extra distortion. Furthermore, the Master section consists of volume, reverb and tone cut controls, the latter of which allows you to adjust high frequencies with detailed precision.

Extra expansion options

On the back of the amp you'll find a connector for an external 8-ohm speaker cabinet, which switches off the amp's internal speakers. There's also an input for an optional VOX VFS2A foot switch, which you can use to switch between the two channels and to turn the reverb on and off.
