The new HT series from Blackstar would be incomplete without a MKII version of the smoking HT-5R. This time around, with the HT-5R MKII, you’re getting a two-channel tube combo-amp with even more potential. Both channels come with a voice button, so when you're in need of something a little heavier, simply switch from full, British-sounding crunch to American high-gain distortion with more definition and resonance. And, when things need be cleaner, you can switch this Blackstar combo from a UK, mid-range sound to that tighter, bass-rich tone that can only be found across the pond.

The HT-5R MkII: Your Tone, Your Vibe

Once you’ve dialled in your favourite tone and tweaked it to taste using the 3-band equaliser, you can use the ISF control to really make it your own. Via the mono FX loop, you can add your own arsenal of effects pedals and then engage the built-in reverb. As well as the Blackstar-standard, user-friendly layout of the control panel, an AUX input has also been provided for connecting external sound sources and the jack and XLR outputs come supported by speaker simulation. If you need even more power, the HT-5R MKII will happily hook up with any 8 or 16-Ohm speaker.
