The Serato Control CD for Serato DJ can be used in combination with Serato DJ/DVS and Scratch Live. Serato DJ DVS is the successor of Serato's world-famous Scratch Live DVS software. It's been a long time since Scratch Live was first released, and since that time it's seen forty updates and more than seven million downloads. A few years ago, Serato decided to merge their DVS software, Scratch Live, with their controller software, ITCH, and that was basically the birth of Serato DJ. After 2015, Scratch Live will no longer be supported.
Serato DJ/DVS
Using a set of CDJs and two timecode control CDs, you'll be able to control Serato's renowned digital vinyl emulation software, and use innovative features such as iZotope FX, improved Virtual Decks, Cue Points, Slip Mode and Sync, as well as the famous features of Scratch Live, including Auto Loops, Loop Roll and the SP-6. In short, with Serato DJ, Serato has issued its most powerful and most professional software to date.
