The body of this CaSela Vintage cajon is made of 11 layers of birch wood that have been glued together in a special way to create a sturdy 15mm-thick cabinet. As a finishing touch, and for extra reinforcement, the edges and corners have been rounded with maple. The front plate is made of veneer with a red finish to give it that vintage look.

This CaSela Pro Vintage cajon is 47 x 30 x 30 cm and is capable of producing deep bass tones and bright accents. Thanks to the Sela Pro Snare On/Off mechanism, you can easily transition between a more traditional Peruvian sound and a bright, modern, Flamenco-style sound by simply flipping the switch on the side. The front plate is also easily replaceable, should you ever need a new one, or want a different design. Sela makes sure the quality of each instrument is manufactured to the highest degree; not a single cajon leaves the factory without being thoroughly tested first.
