Equipped with a thick wooden sound-port, the Meinl AESELRW Artisan Edition Seguiriya Rosewood cajon packs a massive dynamic range in terms of both volume and tonal depth. This elegantly finished cajon has been built from nine-ply, 12mm-thick Baltic birch wood and fitted with a rosewood playing surface, while inside, a total of two sets of right micro-coiled snare wires have been mounted and can be manually adjusted using the including tuning key to fully customise the sound. These special snare wires have been wound in the same style as master cajon builder, José 'Pepote' Hernández Diaz, already giving this versatile percussive instrument a stunningly crisp snare sound. This edition has been crafted in Spain.
