General
The Mapex Black Panther Blade snare drum is the little brother of the Machete snare and delivers the same cutting performance, but with a slightly brighter sound. This beautiful snare, with a brushed black finish and matching hardware, is 14 x 5.5 inches in size, and it has a 1mm thick steel shell that gives it its great volume and sensitive response, aided by the 45-degree bearing edges. It has a great dynamic range, but when you want it to, it will cut through any wall of screaming guitars, no problem!
Sonic Saver hoops
This Black Panther Blade stands out in other areas as well! The Sonic Saver hoops, which Mapex designed especially for the Black Panther, enhance the drum's projection, while their design will extend the lifespan of your sticks without compromising your ability to play ear-shattering rimshots. Are you looking for a cutting sound to combat the wall of sound your guitarists create, with enough of a dynamic range to accommodate the quieter parts? Look no further: the Mapex Black Panther Blade is the ideal snare drum for you.
