The Mapex name is synonymous with high-quality drums and hardware. These Armory snares are no different, and they're the perfect addition to the Armory shell sets. This 14 x 5.5-inch Peacemaker snare drum offers a warm, dynamic and open sound.

Mapex Armory Peacemaker 14 x 5.5-inch snare drum: maple and walnut

The shell of the Mapex Armory Peacemaker snare is made of maple and walnut. It is equipped with 2.3mm Power Hoops and chrome hardware. The 45-degree SONIClear bearing edge ensures great sustain and resonance, while the consistent tuning of the snare is thanks to the Armory tube lugs, that also provide extra stability for the shell. Besides that, these carefully crafted tube lugs also add to the Dillinger's modern appearance.

The Piston strainer and vertical throw-off of this 14 x 5.5-inch Armory Peacemaker are quick and easy to use and ensure that the tension on the snare wires stays as consistent as possible.

Was enkele weken geleden in de winkel in Goes om de TAMA Star Walnut drumset uit te proberen (topset, en uiteindelijk ook aangeschaft).
Als snare pakte ik er deze Mapex Peacemaker erbij en was op slag verliefd! De maple/walnutketel klinkt heerlijk warm en de standaard prima snarenmat geeft een heeeeeerlijke buzz aan je snare en ghostnotes klinken subtiel en smooth. Zowel funky/snappy hoog gestemd als grommend laag blijft ie super klinken..
