Mapex Armory Dillinger 14 x 5.5-inch snare drum: maple
The shell of the Mapex Armory Dillinger snare is made of 8 plies of maple, giving it a clear and balanced sound. It is equipped with 2.3mm Power Hoops and chrome hardware. The 45-degree bearing edge ensures great sustain and resonance, while the consistent tuning of the snare is owed to the Armory tube lugs, that also provide extra stability for the shell. Besides that, these carefully crafted tube lugs also add to the Dillinger's elegant appearance.
The Piston strainer and vertical throw-off of this 14 x 5.5-inch snare drum are quick and easy to use and ensure that the tension on the snare wires stays as consistent as possible.
