The MH4 by Rush by Martin is a versatile and robust moving head with a lamp with a colour temperature of 9,000 K. It produces sharp beams with a long range and all manner of gorgeous mid-air effects. It features a 6-faceted prism, a colour wheel with 14 colours, a fixed gobo wheel with 17 gobos and a shutter with stroboscope and pulse effects, instant open and blackout. This flexible moving head especially comes into its own in smaller indoor venues, like pubs.
The gobo and colour wheel of the MH4 can operate in various speeds and directions. Furthermore, you can scroll through the colours or gobos in an open, continuous step-by-step system. Focusing isn't an issue thanks to a motorised focus. Apart from a shutter, there's also a dimmer on board which has a continuous range between utter darkness and full luminous power. As the MH4's beam has an angle of three degrees, you should ensure a distance of eight metres between the MH4 and the ground on which it's projecting, to achieve the optimal effect.
The MH4 moving head by Rush by Martin can be operated via the LCD display on the device itself, or via DMX. You are provided with thirteen channels for the latter. A connection to the MH4 is created via XLR cables, which feature 3-pin and 5-pin XLR connectors. Via DMX you have 16-bit control over dimmer, pan and tilt. The pan can move in 540 degrees, whereby the tilt has a range of 270 degrees. These can also be adjusted in speed of course. A silent fan cools the moving head. The accessory 1.5m cable powers the MH4 Beam via a Neutrik Powercon connector. Two brackets are provided for mounting purposes. These should be mounted on a solid underground or construction.
