Elation's Platinum Profile LED is a so-called profile / framing shutter LED spotlight. Its lamp uses a 180W LED motor that's as powerful as a 575W gas-discharge lamp. In short: this is a properly powerful moving head! The device features four rotating shutter blades, two colour wheels and two Gobo wheels. It's ArtNET-compatible and operates in a flicker-free fashion. This moving head is therefore ideal for film recordings and broadcasting applications.
Features
The Elation Platinum Profile features rotating framing shutters and macros, 3-faceted prisms and macros, an electronic dimmer and strobe, motorised focus, a mechanical iris and a frost filter. At 2.5 metres, the moving head ensures a light intensity of no less than 14,170 lux. The light output of the lamp equals 9,000 lumens. It's provided with three DMX channel modes and operates in accordance with the RDM (Remote Device Management) protocol. The programs and settings can be adjusted in the full-colour LCD display, but it can, of course, also be operated via DMX. As the moving head is IP20-certified, the lamp is only suited for indoor use. Elation's Platinum Profile comes with omega brackets, a five-pin DMX cable, a PowerCON cable and a safety cable.
