The Clean and Pushed modes on channel 1 have been improved. Channels 2 and 3 offer more soul in Raw, more powerful harmonics and more fluent gain in Vintage and a tighter gut-punching attack in Modern. So stop fantasising about the tube amp of your dreams and start playing through one instead.
Connectors and switches
When it comes to connection possibilities, the Dual Rectifier won't let you down either. 4, 8 or 16 ohm cabinets can be connected. There is also a slave out (with level control) available for linking to another amplifier. As well as an effects loop and a tuner out, there are diverse External Switching outputs available (Channel 2, Channel 3, Solo and Loop). On the back, you'll also find the Bias and Rectifier select buttons and the main power switch (Spongy or Bold). Finally, the included six-button foot switch lets you control the three channels, Mute, Loop and Solo. A black cover is also included.
