The especially useful little Cub-Head from Laney gives you Class-A/B tube-driven amplification to shape a wide-range of 100% pure British tone with a maximum power of 15 Watts. Jack into the second input and the maximum power falls to 1 Watt for more considerate volume that still sings with full and rich tube sound. Butter up the foundation a little more using the built-in reverb or by hooking up your pedalboard via the effects loop.

The Laney Cub-Head: Power and Headroom in a Teeny-Tiny Box

The already famed British guitar sound that the Laney Cub-Head produces is ensured by the three ECC83 tubes loaded into the preamp and two EL84 tubes in the power amp. This potent combo creates an immediately warm, vintage sound with extra headroom and power. By linking up the compatible Cub-Cab speaker (not included), you get the ideal compact stack for rehearsals in the bedroom or with the band as well as smaller gigs. Naturally, you could link any other 16 or 8 Ohm speaker cabinet up to the mono speaker output.

Potentiometers, Reverb and Effects Loop

The immense range of tone that the Laney Cub-Head offers is first dialed in using the three band EQ and volume and tone pots. Using the Gain pot, a shimmering clean to a solid overdrive can be shaped. Connect an FS1 footswitch (sold separately) to the fitted port for hands-free control over the built-in reverb and loop in your favourite effects using the effects loop.
