General

The 45 Watt 45-H is the Head-formatted version of the Koch Jupiter guitar combo. This hybrid boutique amp is driven by a pre and power-amp loaded with 12AX7 tubes and steered by the capable of hand of Koch's very own Authentic Tube Response technology. The result is full-grown and fat tube-sound, all wrapped in a little vintage suitcase-styled housing, keeping it lightweight and considerately priced. Since the Jupiter Head pushes a relatively conservative 45 Watts of power, it can serve during home rehearsals, studio sessions as well as on stage as part of a rig while two built-in reverb effects and a boost function on the second channel support dynamic tone.

The Koch Jupiter Head: From Very Cool to Piping Hot

The Jupiter Head has two boutique-grade channels: a Cool clean channel, and growling Hot channel. Both have dedicated volume and gain controls and can be remotely switched using the included two-button footswitch. A shared three-band equaliser takes care of the overall colouring and is backed up by a contour switch able to create a more modern, scooped sound. The master section offers a classic spring-style reverb and a stepless 100 to 0% power dimming pot that maintains that sweet tube-style rip and compression at lower volumes.
