The Waza Craft guitar amplifier head by Boss is an impressive 150-watt transistor amp, which essentially embodies years of Boss's passion and expertise. It's their way of paying tribute to the classic hard rock 'Brown Sound' of the seventies and eighties, also known as the 'ultimate rock sound'. This Waza Craft transistor amp was based on the first stack amplifier, then fine-tuned and tweaked to perfection. Its dynamics, which react directly to your playing, are simply mind-blowing.

Optimum creativity

Boss's strategy during the development of the Waza Craft amp was clearly focused on eliminating all the disadvantages of a tube amplifier, like maintenance, problems with overheating, and vulnerability of the tubes themselves. With this in mind, they made sure the Waza Craft was virtually maintenance-free, so you can fully concentrate on your artistic freedom. One of the main advantages of the Boss Waza Craft when compared to a tube amp is that it actually sounds best when it isn't turned up all the way.

Vintage heritage with modern tweaks

The heart of this amp may be rooted in the reproduction of the 'Brown Sound', but that hasn't stopped Boss from adding some modern technological goodies to it. First off, there's a Power Control section which allows you to produce rich overtones and a wide dynamic range by switching the power. Choose anywhere from a modest 1 watt for use at home, to an impressive 150 watts for a monster of a sound. Secondly, there are four preamp sections, namely: Clean, Crunch, Lead 1 and Lead 2. Thirdly, the Waza Craft has a comprehensive EFX loop and a line out with Air Feel, which enables you to influence the characteristics of the microphone placement. And finally, a Cabinet Resonator allows you to adjust your sound according to your own personal circumstances.
