Boss presents the Katana Head MKII. Bringing the same level of discipline as the MKI, but with even more tones, effects and skills. In addition to the five MKI tube-amp emulations, the MKII has been gifted with a further five, giving you even more space to sharpen you sound. This Katana offers 65 effects to push your sonic depth and the sound quality of each has been improved even further and expanded to include octavers, pitch shifting and a variety of delays that have even more effect on the stereo image. With the dual effects pots, you can control any effect and each can be swiftly toggled on and off via the amplifier itself. A sly USB port gives you an output to your PC or Mac to record your newly mastered moves directly to your DAW.

The Katana Head MKII: Surround and Defeat Your Adversaries with Better Stereo Imaging and Control

Use the Stereo Expand option and connect 2 Katana amps to deepen, widen and clarify your stereo imaging, surround your adversaries and take them down with sound. The first amp acts as master and the second amp serves as a slave. Both amps can be controlled at the same time with the separately available GA-FC footswitch (a useful accessory, even if you're only using one Katana Head). An optional expression pedal can also be connected to control volume, pitch and wah with your foot.

Sharpened Tone Editor, Power Amp In & Cab Resonance

For those who are on a higher mission, chasing elusive, never-heard-before-tones, the free Boss Tone Editor has been updated and fully adapted to meet the demands of the richer sound palette of the Katana MKII models. If you've honed any presets from the original series, these can be loaded up with the new line and fine tuned even further. Jack in your pedalboard or high-quality multi-effects and use them as a preamp by connecting to the Power Amp Input to get a direct path through the class A / B power amp. In addition to the Mic-d cab simulation on the direct outputs, this Katana Head MKII has also been graced with Cab Resonance Control, previously exclusive to the Katana Artist amp. Boss Katana Head MKII 100-Watt Guitar Amplifier Head

I heard of the Katana 100 Head from a goof friend and, after some doubts, I bought it; and I'm rally satisfied of the product; I was looking for versatility, and I fully found it : from stage to recording room you can have anything just in there; need for a 100 W 4x12 cabinet ?? just plug it in , ready for the gig; three output power selections from 0.5 to 100 W. What else could I need ???? time to enjoy it ;)
