When you put your guitar into a case or gig bag, it is advisable to unscrew the tremolo arm to prevent unnecessary pressure on the tremolo system. Unfortunately, this is how most tremolo arms become missing. Luckily, Squier makes an original replacement part for their Vintage Modified Jazzmaster, which is ideal as a spare or if the original one is broken or missing. This vintage-style tremolo arm has a white tip and will also fit the Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster.
