A faithful nod at Pearl's first ever pro-grade series of kits, the President Series, the tasteful Pearl President Phenolic Limited Edition three-piece includes a kick, floor tom, and tom, all bearing the classic hallmarks of the original, from the pressed Phenolic shells, to the 'Battleship' lugs and unique shape of the Gullwing kick drum feet. This set is a more-than fitting tribute to the now 55-year-old President Series kit.

Each shell of the President Phenolic has been made out of the same 'Phelonic' composite, where a thin layer of wood is coated in fibreglass and finished with a silencer, resulting in the immense presence and volume, and a sustain-rich sound that's demanded by lovers of vintage kits. The old-school design has definitely been lightly tweaked and this is immediately evidenced by the tonal articulation and clarity that your hear from the first strike.

The Timeless Design of the President Series

When it comes to authentic detailing, nothing has been left out. The drumhead of the kick drum has been finished with a throwback printed Pearl logo, which matches that of the original President Series kicks. The same goes for the Pearl badges and the Pearl White Oyster wrap - essential tenets of this timeless design. Naturally, this supreme, limited edition shell set comes with a certificate of authenticity, Remo USA drumheads, a classic fabric kick drum damping strip, cymbal arms that are mounted on the bass drum shell, and a set of adjustable Gullwing bass drum legs.
