General

The Pearl Export is back in business! The impeccable quality of these great beginner drums has caused a renewed enthusiasm for the highly-praised series, which is experiencing a comeback as the leader in affordable, yet high-quality beginner drum sets.

Full sound

The 7.5mm thick shells are made from 6 plies of poplar and Asian mahogany and are fitted with 45-degree bearing edges. This, in combination with the 1.6mm triple flanged hoops, gives the Pearl Export a deeper, richer tone. Even the lugs have been made smaller to get the maximum tone from the shells.

Opti-Loc

The Pearl Export Series comes equipped with the new triangular Opti-Loc tom mounting system which better allows the shells to resonate, without sacrificing stability. The matching six-ply snare drum that comes with this drum kit is 14 x 5.5 inches deep and is therefore well suited for any type of music. The drum set comes with Pearl's new HWP-830 series of hardware (stands for your snare drum, hi-hats and cymbals) and the P-90 Demonator bass drum pedal.

Heb het drumstel net een weekje thuis en mijn indruk? Geweldig!
In de winkel heb ik lang gepraat met het team van Bax welk drumstel ik nou zou kopen.
Uiteindelijk kwamen we uit op de Pearl Export series 725, de tom's zijn groter dan bij de 705 dus is dit eigenlijk de zwaarder klinkende versie van de de 705. Zelf heb ik bij de set nog een 18'' crash gekocht en een 10'' splash. Ik ben zelf al een redelijk ervaren drummer en dit drumstel heeft alles om weer een jaar of 10 verder te drummen. Remo vellen, Sabian bekkens, Pearl shells. Alles in deze kit is echt heerlijk om op te spelen. Zeker een aanrader!
