They're known as the best selling drums in the world: Pearl's Export Series. With their 2013 Export Series, Pearl delivers quality drum sets that have been fitted with new hardware and contemporary fabrication techniques. This Pearl Export kit in Red Wine has been constructed in line with Pearl's Superior Shell Technology and it has the Opti-Loc tom mounting system and comes equipped with the brand new 830 series of hardware and the P-930 Demonator bass drum pedal.

Pearl EXX705/C91 Export Red Wine: sound comes first

Sound has always come first at Pearl, and that philosophy has led them to create new lugs for the Export. These lightweight lugs have a sleek, modern look but still nod to the past. They have minimal contact with the shell which allows for optimal resonance. Pearl has developed the Opti-Loc tom mounting system which allows for greater stability, sustain and resonance. The Pearl EXX705/C91 has a 20-inch bass drum, 10 and 12-inch toms, a 14-inch floor tom, and a 14-inch snare drum. All shells are made from 6 plies of Asian mahogany and poplar, resulting in a deep, rich tone.

Hardware

Like the Pearl Export drum set itself, the included hardware is also high-quality. Included with the kit is the HWP-830 Hardware Pack, which consists of a P-930 Demonator bass drum pedal, a BC-830 boom cymbal stand, a C-830 cymbal stand, a H-830 hi-hat stand, a S-830 snare drum stand and two TH-701 tom holders.
