Brazillian brand Odery's Cafe Kit series is perfect for drummers of all ages and levels. They're professional quality, attractively priced and easy to expand upon whenever you're ready. This 4-piece kit consists of a bass drum, two toms, a snare drum and hardware. The shells have a beautiful Blue Sparkle finish.
Complete with inRock hardware
As well as four shells, this set also includes a bass drum pedal, a bass drum pedal adapter, a hi-hat stand, a straight cymbal stand, tom holders and a snare drum clamp. The only other things you'll need are a drum stool, a set of drum sticks, hi-hat cymbals and a crash or a ride cymbal.
Odery Cafe Kit series
The shell are made of basswood and have a thickness of 7.5 mm. The bass drum measures 14 x 11 inches, the toms are 10 x 5.5 and 12 x 6 inches and the snare drum is 12 x 5 inches. That makes this compact kit perfect for gigs in smaller-sized venues and it's quick and easy to set up too. With professional drumheads and a good set of microphones, this kit could even be used for larger gigs. If you're a powerful player, you may want to consider making a 3-4 inch porthole in the bass drum resonance head to let the air escape faster.
Cafe Kit expansion option
The Cafe Kit's expansion option consists of a larger 20 x 18-inch bass drum and three floor tom legs. That means you can use your existing 14-inch bass drum as a 14-inch floor tom instead and enjoy greater volume and punch from the larger bass drum. It's a very clever way to expand your kit whenever you're ready so that you can continue using it as your skills advance.

If the images online are nice, in person, the kit is actually nicer. It has a beautiful sparkly blue wrap and everything seems really good quality.
The kit comes in a box altogether. The bass drum needs assembly (rims), but toms and snare came already assembled. The hardware in my opinion seems very good and sturdy. I had to get an extra cymbal stand because this kit only comes with 1, apart from hihat stand.
In terms of sounds, the kit is really great. The snare has a really nice crack sound once you get the skin tight enough.
The small tom can sound really high pitch so I tuned a bit lower. Same for the big tom.
The bass drum can sound deep enough if you tuned it low.
Things i didn't like:
The drum pedal feels cheap and annoying. I have another cheap pedal and the inrock one feels worse.
I didnt like the fact that it comes with only one cymbal stand. I understand the compact idea but even the ugly Pearl Midtown has a cymbal holder attached to the bass drum.
I didnt like that all drum heads are coated. They all sound good, don't get me wrong, but the bass drum could sound even better with a clear one.
Overall, I loved it! It is so compact and good looking. Really eye-catching. It sounds so well just out of the box that it will save me some money because I'm not changing the head drums yet. It is easy to move around or to just keep in the car.
If you ask me, I completely recommend it! Very happy with the purchase.
However, I'm not very happy with the delivery of the product. I think a nice shop as Bax should change delivery service in the UK.
