The Roland TD-25 series offers many possibilities at an affordable price compared to its predecessor, the TD-30. The module has SuperNATURAL technology that reacts to the details in your playing so that your rim shots, rolls and ghost notes on the drums and crashes, and complex rhythms on the cymbals is simulated accurately. The TD-25KVX comes with an 18-inch acoustic bass drum with a built-in trigger pad system that ensures a natural feel and sound as well as an authentic look! The kit also includes a snare, three toms, a hi-hat, two crashes and a ride.

TD-25 module

There are 36 pre-programmed kits in the TD-25 and all the virtual instruments available can be adjusted as desired using the on-board effects. Change the pitch, mute a tom or add sustain - anything is possible and easy to alter using the clear user interface. The large button in the middle is used to switch quickly between the various kits. Play along with your favourite music by using the aux input to plug in a media player, or load in WAV or MP3 files from a USB stick. Record your sessions on a USB stick or via a DAW on your computer.

Set-up

In the TD-25 series, there are three kits, each with its own unique configuration. The module is the same for all three kits, but the pads are different. The KVX has an 18-inch acoustic bass drum and a 12-inch snare drum pad that can produce dynamic rim shots with great precision. The three toms are equipped with 10-inch pads and mesh heads. The VH-11 hi-hat (stand sold separately) offers a realistic response and movement, just like the two 12-inch dual-zone crash cymbals and triple-zone 13-inch crash.

• Please note: this kit does not include a bass drum pedal, a snare drum stand, a hi-hat stand or a drum throne.
• With mesh heads, we recommend using nylon-tip drum sticks only. A (slightly) splintered wooden tip can damage the head.
• The supplied rack is an improved version and differs slightly from the one in the picture.
