General
The Roland RMP-12 is a revolutionary and highly expressive digital marching drum. Finally there's a way to practise your parts wherever and whenever you like, without bothering others! The patented 12-inch mesh head of the marching drum is not only very quiet, but ultra-durable as well. The RMP-12 offers a realistic response, and the tension of the drum head can be adjusted to your preferences. Connect your MP3 player via the line input of the drum and you are able to play along with any track you'd like to practise. The RMP-12 is also equipped with a headphone connector, a line output and a wide range of V-Drums sounds.
RMP-12: V-Drums module
The sounds of the RMP-12 are generated by the internal V-Drums module, which offers hundreds of instruments and sound effects, allowing for expressive playing. The Rhythm Coach function enables you to develop your speed, endurance and precision skills.
Use of the marching drum
Thanks to its incredibly light weight, the Roland RMP-12 is ideal for live applications. Simply attach it to a standard marching drum carrier using the optional OP-RMP12 clamp. This even leaves enough room for an optional transmitter, giving you the necessary freedom of movement. The RMP-12 can also be placed on a snare stand - great if you want to practise your technique, for instance.
