The Special Edition of the Alesis Command Mesh e-kit has been set up with white mesh heads and comes bundled up with a premium software package featuring a full stack of premium kits. In terms of the physical setup, you're getting the same configuration as the OG Command: a 10 inch snare; three 8 inch toms, each with dual-zone triggering to vary the sound of the drumhead and the rim; a 10 inch high hat with a trigger pedal; two 10 inch cymbals, both with a choke function; an 8 inch kick and a kick pedal.
Up For Any Battle
This extensive configuration has been teamed up with the Command Advanced drum module which comes pre-loaded with fifty-four preset kits, a bank of 671 samples and twenty save slots so users can build their own array of custom kits. Expanding the flexibility, user samples can even be loaded in via USB stick or by coupling a Windows or Mac via USB - infinitely expanding the potential. In fact, with this Special Edition, you gain access to the BDF Player: free software that comes stacked with high-grade samples of premium drum kits, and on top of all of that, Alesis have generously thrown in fourteen days' worth of free drum lessons via Melodics to help drummers expand their knowledge and hone their technique.
