Sunstrips are a common sight in the background of many stages. These light bars are capable of producing rather dramatic effects as wall wash fixtures or blinders. This Ultra HEX Bar 12 is such a sunstrip/LED bar. It is equipped with LEDs rather than halogen bulbs. All of its twelve LEDs produce red, green, blue, amber, white and UV to allow for marvellous colour combos. What’s more, with the right software you can create a low-res screen with several LED bars.

Thanks to its 10-watt LEDs, the Ultra Hex Bar has a phenomenal light output. Whether used in the background, at the front or as a wall wash, this fixture is up for the job. To prevent endless programming, the manufacturer already pre-set 64 colour macros. Additionally, it has several operational modes that include fixed colours, music-controlled and DMX mode. The DMX mode allows you to choose between a 6, 7, 8, 12 or 18-channel control - dependent on how many of its functions you actually want to use.
