General

Guitarists and bass players finally have the chance to add a VOX Phantom to their collection! The irregular pentagonal body and flattened oval headstock make the Mark V - its official name - into a unique, unforgettable instrument. The VOX Mark V Bass is the bass guitar model, and this particular one features the white finish and a slim short-scale neck.

The classic features of the Mark V Bass White

It isn't just the shape and neck that highlight the vintage character of the Mark V Bass. It also has a classic pickup configuration with two single coils in the bridge and neck position, which delivers a bright, tight sound that can be adjusted from dark to bright. Simply use the volume controls to get the right pickup mix! There's also a tone knob for turning down the high frequencies, and the bass guitar comes with a gig bag for easy transport.

VOX Teardrop and Phantom

The unique design of the VOX Teardrop and Phantom guitars dates back to the early sixties and still captures the imagination today. It's no wonder that second-hand models sold for high prices in the long period that VOX wasn't producing these electric guitars. However, lucky for you, some time ago they came out with the comparable Apache series, and not long after that VOX brought out the Mark III and the Mark V, due to popular demand.
