Its entire smooth, C-profile maple neck (with a gloss vintage tint) is comfortably playable. The maple fretboard has 20 medium frets. The body of this guitar is made of basswood, which is light of weight and produces a warm sound, and its pickguard has an aged white finish. It's a straightforward, reliable five-string electric bass guitar.
The Squier brand
The most famous Fender guitars are the Precision and Jazz bass guitars and the Stratocaster and Telecaster electric guitars. Many manufacturers have imitated these in different price ranges. In order to be able to provide a reliable and attractive alternative for beginners, Fender started their subsidiary Squier in 1982. Squier guitars and bass guitars are built according to specifications by, and under supervision of, Fender.
