The Sire Marcus Miller V7 SR4 Transparent Green Satin is a 4-string electric bass guitar that combines the classic Jazz Bass experience with modern innovations. This reissue brings back a much-loved model that had been temporarily discontinued due to the limited availability of swamp ash. The swamp ash body, featuring a beautiful poplar burl veneer in this transparent green satin finish, not only gives the instrument a luxurious look but also contributes to a clear, dynamic tone with excellent definition. Thanks to the comfortable C-profile neck and the rounded fret edges, this bass feels instantly familiar.

Versatile electronics

The sound is provided by a set of Marcus Miller Super-J Revolution single-coil pickups with authentic 1960s spacing and USA plain enamel bobbin wire. These pickups deliver an open, transparent sound with plenty of detail and definition. The Marcus Heritage-3 preamp features a 3-band EQ with mid-frequency control, volume/tone, blend, treble, mid-frequency and bass controls. What’s more, you can switch between active and passive modes, allowing the bass to adapt effortlessly to a wide range of musical styles and playing techniques.

High-quality finish

The V7 SR4 is also fully equipped in terms of hardware. The Marcus Heavy Mass II bridge ensures excellent sustain and stable intonation, whilst the premium open-gear tuning machines allow for precise tuning. The hard maple neck with a hard maple fingerboard, white pearloid block inlays and an ivory-coloured 3-ply pearloid pickguard give this bass guitar a classic look with modern accents.
